Northland Grandfamilies Plans May Meeting

The Northland Grandfamilies and Kinship Program offers support to families currently in a kinship role such as a grandparent caring for a grandchild or other family member in Clay and Platte Counties.

Their next meeting is Friday, May 23, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Beacon Mental Health-Unity Room. The guest speaker will be Tim Lee from Optum Community Center. Optum offers the chance to participate in a variety of health and wellness activities that help use age in a proactive, healthful manner. Come learn about this free community resource for adults 55 and over!
