Since 1970, Synergy Services has been giving victims of family violence and families in crisis the support, strength and skills needed to live a healthy life free from violence.

The agency offers a full continuum of care to assist individuals and families with immediate respite from violence, and services which empower clients to find and choose good options for future safety and success.

Thanks in large part to the Clay, Platte, Ray Mental Health Tax Levy, trauma-informed mental health services are integrated into each of our residential programs and are also offered on an out-patient basis or in conjunction with other programs.

Traditional mental health counseling is combined with innovative art, play, music and other expressive therapies to help young children, adolescents and adults overcome the negative effects of traumatic life events such as child sexual or physical abuse, loss of a loved one, and domestic, school or community violence. Synergy's licensed therapists specialize in a wide range of treatment modalities, and no one is turned away due to an inability to pay.
