NAMI Smarts Provides Advocacy Training 

Have you ever wanted to get involved in advocating locally by participating in local boards, committees and workgroups?

If you aren’t sure where to start, the NAMI Smarts workshop is for you. Join the next NAMI Smarts session to learn how to effectively present to a school board or city council and what you should know if you’re interested in getting involved as an attendee, presenter or even as a workgroup, committee or board member.

NAMI Smarts for Advocacy is a Free Virtual hands-on advocacy training program that helps people with mental illness, friends and family transform their passion and lived experience into grassroots advocacy. 

The regular monthly, one-hour Lunch and Learn Advocacy Sessions are held on the second Wednesday of every month from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
