HHS Offers Extensive COVID-19 Mental Health Info

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has assembled a broad collection of information relating to COVID-19 and mental health. In addition, the page has a number of links to other resources that many will find valuable.

Entitled “Mental Health and Coping,” the page includes everything from helping children deal with increased isolation and social distance to tips on using yoga.

The information is designed for easy use by individuals but is also helpful for family members, loved ones or others concerned about a friend or relative, noting “Parents, caregivers, and other trusted adults play an important role in helping children make sense of what they hear in a way that is honest, accurate, and minimizes anxiety or fear.”

The information also includes a range of media, from text and charts to videos, PDFs and more. You may even sign up for newsletters and other notifications.
