Bipolar and PC: Good Discussion of Mental Health Perspective

The online magazine Huffington Post recently published an interesting column by a woman diagnosed with bipolar disorder and her efforts to survive.

Part of her comments deal with current language discussions, and whether one should say a person "suffers" with a disease like bipolar or whether they "live" with it. Her comments concern what is "political correct" as well as what is accurate. As she notes, dealing with bipolar is serious and painful, and dealing with that must be acknowledged.
