Housing Help for KC-Area Veterans

The Kansas City VA HOUSING GROUP offers a number of services for veterans dealing with homelessness.

Grants and Per Diem, Emergency Housing, Safe Haven, and HUD-VASH are among the services. All of these groups are designed for veterans experiencing homelessness who are interested in assistance with VA and community options for housing.

Eligibility Requirements are:

o Veteran is currently homeless

o Veteran is eligible for VA healthcare

o Veteran is NOT on the Sex Offender Registry

o Veteran's income is below $25,500 yearly (gross income)

Information is available every Thursday at 8:30 am on the 9th Floor- Main Building, Kansas City VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd. Kansas City1 MO 64128, Room M9-280.

If you are unable to attend group during this time, please check in with the staff during Homeless Program walk-in hours. Homeless Program walk-in hours are: 9:00-11:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 1300-1600 on Wednesdays in room M9-249.
