Northland "Grandfamilies" Offered Free Support Groups

Clay County Senior Services has updated its information on “Northland Grandfamilies,” to help those who are raising a grandchild or other relative.

These support groups are available free in Clay County:

• The Second Wednesday of every month, 10:00 a.m. – Noon. Room 200, North Cross United Methodist Church, 1321 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64118.

• Second Thursday of every month, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Room 126 Basement, Excelsior Springs: Good Samaritan Center, 108 South Thompson Ave., Excelsior Springs, MO 64024

• Fourth Wednesday of every month, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Room 200(call the Extension office for childcare), North Cross United Methodist Church, 1321 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64118
